Headquartered in Greenville, SC, Broadstreet Partners is a boutique commercial real estate firm specializing in development, investment sales, and brokerage.

Broadstreet combines the experience, capability, and professionalism of a national real estate company with the agility and responsiveness of a boutique firm. Known for its creative approach, entrepreneurial insight, and diverse transactional experience, Broadstreet forges strategic and long-lasting partnerships with clients that equip them to be competitive in an ever-changing market.

Craig Stipes

Craig leads Broadstreet's Development and Capital Investment platforms.

Craig leads Broadstreet Partners Development and Capital Investment platforms. For the past 25 years Craig has been involved in numerous facets of the real estate industry including construction, finance, brokerage, capital markets, and development. Prior to the formation of Broadstreet Partners in 2014 he worked with Fortune 500 Companies CBRE, JP Morgan, Skanska-Tidewater and was also a partner in a boutique development firm in Charlotte NC. In addition to procuring and overseeing new development opportunities for Broadstreet, Craig has been active in the Urban Land Institute, ICSC, Homes of Hope, Water of Life, Grace Church and also served as an adjunct professor in the Clemson MRED program. He holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from North Carolina State University and a Masters in Real Estate and Finance from the University of Georgia. Craig resides in Greenville with his wife Ashley. They both are active in their local church and love spending time outdoors with their two sons Drew and Harper.

Matt Covington

Industry veteran Matt Covington brings experience spanning over 20 years.

Industry veteran Matt Covington brings to the team extensive experience spanning over 20 years in finance, transactional brokerage, and development. Prior to Broadstreet, Matt served as a Vice President in the Investment Group at CBRE and was repeatedly named a CBRE Top Producer. While at Broadstreet, he has engaged in multiple facets of the commercial real estate business including development and investment sales. Matt is a CCIM and member of the International Council of Shopping Centers. He is locally involved with the Urban Land Institute, United Ministries, and Grace Church. He received his BS in Financial Management from Clemson University in 1997 with a concentration in Capital Structures. Matt lives in Greenville with his wife Stephanie and their three sons Matthew, Sam, and George.

John Parker

John brings a particular focus on industrial, office, and investment sales.

John Parker joined Broadstreet Partners in 2014 and has over 22 years of experience in asset management, transaction management, and development with a particular focus on industrial, office, and investment sales. A native of the Atlanta area, he has a broad contact base and keen understanding of the Carolinas and Georgia markets. Prior to joining Broadstreet, John served as a member of the industrial and office brokerage teams at CBRE. He also led project management for the Bank of America corporate services account at Trammell Crow Company in Charlotte, NC. John’s diverse background in the industry gives him a versatile understanding of how all parties approach a transaction. He is an active member of the Urban Land Institute, the Greater Greenville Association of Realtors, Greenville City Center Rotary Club, and First Presbyterian Church where he serves as a deacon. He holds a BS in Political Science from the University of Georgia. John resides in Greenville, SC with his wife Sydney and their three children Myddie, James, and Liza. He never misses a chance to explore new breweries and fly-fishing streams.

Ryan Koop, SIOR

Ryan serves as an Industrial and Capital Markets broker for Broadstreet Partners.

Ryan serves as an Industrial and Capital Markets broker for Broadstreet Partners where he leverages his finance and corporate real estate experience on behalf of clients. Prior to working for Broadstreet Partners, Ryan worked as a broker in the Industrial Services group of CBRE. Ryan also served as a Senior Account Executive for LM Funding, a niche Private Equity group in Tampa, FL, where he was responsible for business development and underwriting. Prior to these experiences, Ryan worked with First American Title Insurance Company in their National Commercial Services division where he specialized in underwriting and due diligence on multi-state commercial transactions. Ryan is SIOR designated (Society of Industrial and Office Realtors), holds a Masters in Real Estate Development from Arizona State University, an MBA from The Citadel, and a BS from the University of South Carolina. He lives in Greenville, SC with his wife Christine and two sons.

Ben Harris

Ben has participated as a principal in deals that exceed $350 million in value.

Ben Harris joined Broadstreet in 2020. He brings over 23 years of experience in commercial real estate and has participated as a principal in deals that exceed $350 million in value. Additionally, Ben is intimately familiar with the southeast from more than 17 years with a regional geographic focus. His depth of experience offers clients a unique, analytical perspective and ability to navigate all aspects of a transaction.

Ben founded Tricorp Investments in 2011 and primarily conducted business in the retail sector. There he executed an array of projects comprised of new development, acquisition, recapitalizations, and single tenant build-to-suits. His projects’ tenants included Target, Kohl’s, Belk, Barnes & Noble, DSW, Old Navy, Banana Republic, Trader Joe’s, J Crew, Victoria’s Secret, Ann Taylor, Best Buy, Petco, Shoe Carnival, CVS, Starbucks, Dollar Tree, Kirkland’s, California Pizza Kitchen, Bed Bath & Beyond, Borders, Urban Outfitters, Z Gallerie, Ulta Salon, Anthropologie, Apple, and more.

Prior to Tricorp, Ben co-founded and operated Tricore Partners from 2003 to 2010 in Atlanta, GA, directed landlord leasing and sales for a multi-faceted development firm, and worked in general brokerage in the industrial sector for Goodman Seegar Hogan Hoffler from 1997 to 2002.

Ben holds a BS in Business Administration from Clemson University. He enjoys spending time with his wife Kay and their five children Gibson, Reynolds, Milly, Elizabeth, and Riley. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and All Saints Church.

Greer Layne

Greer serves his clients in the Southeast Industrial and Investment Sales markets, and provides site selection services in the Carolinas.

Greer focuses his efforts and serves clients in the southeast industrial and investment sales markets and augments expanding businesses site selection efforts in the Carolinas. Prior to joining Broadstreet Partners in 2021, Greer was responsible for all operations of a $40MM production facility in the upstate. After earning his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Clemson University, graduating cum laude in 2017, he moved to Greenville, SC where he and his wife Alicia currently reside. Greer is an active member of his local church, enjoys playing basketball, and has a passion for creating impactful relationships.

Grace Lothridge

Grace Lothridge serves as the Marketing Manager at Broadstreet Partners.

Grace Lothridge combines her passion for marketing with her passion for the real estate industry. She studied social media marketing in school and is passionate about the benefits a social media presence can have for businesses.
After graduating in 2020 from North Greenville University she began her career in marketing and administration.
